In this episode we get to meet a real firefighter paramedic for the Reedy Creek Fire Department, which provides emergency fire and medical services to Walt Disney World parks & hotels in Orlando, Florida. We learn what it takes to be a firefighter and what a typical work shift entails for these first responders.

-As a family, bake something yummy to take to your closest fire department or police station as a way of saying thank you to your first responders for keeping you safe.

-Parents ask little learners:
1) Tell me about someone you know who is very brave or a time where you were very brave.
2) Do you know what to do if someone gets really hurt or if there’s a fire?
3) What else do you think our family can do to thank the firefighters/paramedics in our neighborhood?

-Little learners ask parents:
1) Have you ever had a reason to call 911? What happened?
2) Tell me about a time when you needed to be brave.
3) If there’s ever a fire in our home, where is our family meeting place after we get out?
